How does it feel to get Pruned? Is it something you Embrace? Is the outcome worth the Stress, Pressure and Pain?
Deep cuts removing the dead parts and even things we think are valuable and living leads to this………
The beautiful new growth and life. Through the pain of pruning comes the glory of the bloom in these Roses.
On Valentines Day, roses and love abound during the annual celebration every February 14th. This day is especially important as a landmark in my life. It was Valentines Day 1985 when I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior became born again. After a life of Stress, Pressure and Painful Pruning(which I elaborate on in my book Making the Call), I came to realize that there was a purpose in all this. That my Creator was actually cutting back all the things that were dead in my life, even things I thought were alive, so that I would become more useful and beautiful as HIS Creation! Has the Pruning stopped just because I have become a Christian? NO, it never will, just as Rose Bushes and other plants have to be pruned to bring forth the better and purer fruit. In John 15:1-8 the pain and beauty of the pruning process is revealed in more depth.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”
Everyone will be Pruned by the Great Gardener, making the proper cuts to bring forth fruit, while removing that which is unnecessary.
You can Embrace the Pruning Process since it will bring forth the beautiful Creation that God has created you to be!
Decide to Stand as HIS Creation(Ephesians 6:10) and Embrace Stress and Pressure as it helps you Grow(2 Corinthians 12:7-10).
This day will always be special to me as the Day of Love and Restoration to my Heavenly Father. I hope and pray that you discover how much God Loves You on this special day.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, and hope you enjoy it with your Loved ones!
